How to Apply for DUI School
You may be required to attend and complete DUI School if:
- you are convicted of DUI;
- you are convicted of a lesser crime, such as Reckless Driving;
- you are applying for a hardship permit from the DHSMV;
- you are ordered by a court.
You must attend DUI School in the county in which you live, work, or attend school (unless an exception is granted).

To register for DUI School, you will need all of the following:
- your driver’s license number;
- a Photo I.D. (Florida I.D. or driver’s license required - no exceptions);
- a complete copy of the arrest/police report from your case;
- a copy of your DUI citation;
- any applicable court orders;
- a copy of the Blood Alcohol Content (B.A.C.) test results document (or refusal affidavit);
- the name of your probation officer (if applicable);
- a certified life time driving history not older than 30 days.
Level I DUI School is a 12 hour course and costs approximately $215.00*.
Level II DUI School is a 21 hour course and costs approximately $330.00*
